ISTANBUL
China on Sunday launched two technical experiment satellites into space aboard a Lijian-1 Y9 carrier rocket, according to state-run media.
The rocket lifted off at 11.32 am local time (0332GMT) from the Dongfeng Commercial Space Innovation Pilot Zone near the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China, Xinhua News reported.
The satellites were successfully placed into their designated orbit, the report said.
