Palestinian child seriously injured by Israeli fire in West Bank
12-year-old boy from Al-Aroub refugee camp injured in abdomen
RAMALLAH, Palestine
A 12-year-old Palestinian child was seriously injured by Israeli fire on Tuesday in the occupied West Bank, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.
A ministry statement said the child from Al-Aroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, was injured by live bullets in the abdomen and rushed to the Arab Society Hospital in Bethlehem for treatment.
It remains unclear why the child was shot.
There was no comment from the Israeli army.
