Measles death toll increased to 157 in Pakistan.
Pakistani Health Ministry said that the disease killed 157 children in Punjab province in the last two months.
The vaccination campaign would be accelerated to prevent deaths, officials said in relation to the issue.
Shahbaz Sharif, Chief Minister of Punjab, stated the responsibility of each child to die from measles from now on was his own responsibility and they would use every means available to prevent the spreading of the disease.
460 children died due to measles in Pakistan last year.
