Six Syrians were killed on Thursday when Syrian troops sprayed bullets onto anti-government protesters.
The Syrian Human Rights Watch Organization, based in London, said that six Syrians were killed in Idlib, Damascus, Der'a and Rakka cities on Thursday when Syrian troops fired on anti-government demonstrators.
The Syrian General Revolution Council, in charge of local opposition, said on Thursday that heavy clashes took place between pro-Assad Syrian troops and the Free Syrian Army in Homs. The Council also said that a group of Syrian troops joined the Free Syrian Army in Kasiyba region of Golan heights.
Meanwhile, the Local Coordination Committees of Syria threatened to withdraw from the Syrian National Council on Thursday.
In a written statement released on Thursday, the Local Coordination Committees said that the situation at the Syrian National Council got worse, mistakes were not corrected and that, unless demands for reform were not satisfactory and met, the committees would withdraw from the Syrian National Council.
Among the mistakes pointed out were the lack of harmonization between the Syrian National Council and revolutionary movement, alienation of most Local Coordination Committees representatives from the Syrian National Council and the presence of a "monopoly" in the leadership of the Syrian National Council.
The threat came after Burhan Ghalioun was reelected the chair of the Syrian National Council two days ago.
Several officials from the Council opposed the reelection of Ghalioun. According to the rules, a chair had to change every three months.
The Syrian National Council is also accused of not cooperating sufficiently with regional opposition groups.
