Two Palestinians were injured in an Israeli raid in the West Bank city of Jenin on Wednesday, according to medical sources.

One Palestinian sustained gunshot wounds, while the second was injured by a rubber bullet in Enzah village, the sources said.

The injured were transferred to hospital for medical treatment.

Local residents said clashes erupted between stone-throwing Palestinian youth and Israeli forces during the dawn raid, during which Israeli soldiers used teargas, rubber bullets and live ammunition.

The Palestinian Health Ministry has yet to issue an official statement on the injuries.
