NEVSEHIR
Historical and touristic attractions around Cappadocia had been visited by 1.09 million local and foreign visitors in the first half of this year.
According to information received from Provincial Culture and Tourism Directorate, 2.5 million tourists visit the region in a year approximately and the most visited place was Goreme open-air museum.
In the first half of 2011, the region received 1.15 million tourists.
