Paris Saint-Germain beat Montpellier 5-2 in French Ligue 1

Paris Saint-Germain beat Montpellier 5-2 on Saturday in a French Ligue 1 week 2 match.

PSG took the lead as Montpellier's Falaye Sacko put the ball into his own net in the 39th minute at Parc Des Princes.

Four minutes later, Neymar Jr. made it 2-0 on a penalty kick.

Neymar scored again in the 51st minute but Wahbi Khazri pulled one back for Montpellier in the 58th minute.

Kylian Mbappe made it 4-1 in the 69th minute before Renato Sanches scored the fifth goal for PSG in minute 87.

Enzo Mbiayi scored in the last minute, 92, to end the match.

PSG maintained its lead atop the standings with 6 points and an eight-goal difference. Montpellier is in eighth place with three points in the standings.
