Jokic on fire with 47 points as Denver Nuggets beat Atlanta Hawks 123-115 for 25th win
Denver Nuggets defeated Atlanta Hawks 123-115 backed by their Serbian center Nikola Jokic on Monday night.
Serbian player Jokic scored a career-high 47 points along with 8 rebounds and 5 assists at Philips Arena.
Small forward Will Barton finished with 28 points and 9 rebounds while point guard Jamal Murray had 16 points for the Nuggets.
For the losing side, point guard Trae Young played with 29 points and 12 assists, becoming the highest scorer of his team.
In addition to Young, two more players scored in double-digit. Shooting guard Kevin Huerter scored 22 points as power forward John Collins played with 17 points.
Following this win, the Nuggets improved to 25 wins and 11 losses, the Hawks dropped to 8 wins and 29 defeats.
Spurs snap Bucks' 5-game win streak
Playing at AT&T Center, San Antonio Spurs beat Milwaukee Bucks 126-104 as Spurs ended Bucks' 5-game winning series.
For the Spurs, shooting guard DeMar DeRozan scored 25 points while Australian point guard Patty Mills came off the bench to add 21 points.
Giannis Antetokounmpo made a 'double-double', scoring 24 points and grabbing 12 rebounds but he could not avoid the loss for Milwaukee Bucks.
