ANKARA
Turkish basketball club Galatasaray Liv Hospital on Thursday defeated Serbia's Partizan NIS 78-70 in Belgrade at the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Tournament.
It is their third victory and earns them the fourth spot before Friday's three-game schedule. Partizan NIS remain at the bottom of the eight-team group with one win.
Although Partizan NIS took the first quarter 26-22, Galatasaray were in control throughout much of the game, leading 43-37 at halftime and 62-53 after the third quarter.
Partizan's Bogdan Bogdanovic led the scoring with 23 points, while Henry Domercant of Galatasaray carried the load offensively for the Lions with 18.
