Canada and Sweden will face off on Friday to secure a gold medal in women's football at Tokyo Olympics.

Canada reached the final after sealing a 1-0 victory over the US in the semifinal.

Having won a silver medal in the 2016 Rio Olympics, Sweden moved to the final by defeating Australia 1-0 in the semifinal.

The final will be held at the Tokyo Olympic Stadium.

Australia will meet the US to secure a bronze medal at the Ibaraki Kashima Stadium on Thursday.
