Turkish Beko Basketball League leaders Banvit preserved their lead at the end of weekday 17 with an away win agianst Tofas 84-60. Fenerbahce Ulker, who were missing both of their centers, Slovenian Gasper Vidmar and Croatian Luka Zoric, due to injuries cruised past Anadolu Efes who have been on the rise in the last two rounds of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Top 16, 73-64.
Besiktas Integral Forex toppled Galatasaray Liv Hospital in a derby game on Monday. The Black Eagles won the match by 4 points, 82-78. Besiktas Integral Forex's newly transferred Bosnian power forward Kenan Bajramovic played a crucial role in the win by scoring 25 points. In Galatasaray Liv Hospital the top scorer was Puerto Rican guard Carlos Arroyo who had 21 points.
