Protests take place in Ireland's capital Belfast before G8 summit in Northern Ireland on Monday.
Oxfam, an international confederation working to find solutions to poverty and related injustice around the world, placed gravestones in front of the city hall in Belfast with the aim of calling G8 leaders to find a political solution to the crisis in Syria.
The gravestones surrounded by roses read, "93 thousand people have lost their lives in Syria."
With Russian behind the Syria regime, a significant decision on Syria crisis is not expected at the end of G8 summit, however, the main agenda of G8 summit will be the civil war in the country.
A group of around 20 demonstrators who wanted to protest against G8 summit were dispersed by police earlier Monday during a speech by US President Barack Obama. Some of the protesters were detained.
Last week, saw many anti-G8 protests in London. The summit brings together 8 most developed economies of the world.
