Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz on Friday said he met Ziya Ozturkler, speaker of the Assembly of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), and members of the Presidency Council in Ankara.

“We are very pleased with the harmonious and productive cooperation between our parliaments," Yilmaz said in a post on X. "We aim to further strengthen the solidarity and cooperation between all our institutions in line with the common goals of Türkiye and TRNC."

He wished Ozturkler and members of the council success in their work and conveyed "my love and affection to my Turkish Cypriot brothers and sisters."
