Anadolu Agency (AA) will start certificate programs on diplomacy and finance journalism.
Both programs will start on January 2, 2013 as part of AA's centennial vision in order to train a new generation of journalists.
Training diplomatic correspondents
AA News Academy will hold the "Diplomatic Journalism" certificate programme in coordination with the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
Three months long "Diplomacy Journalism Certificate Programme" will train skilled journalists and the AA News Academy will be in cooperation with the experienced team of Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs to train "diplomatic correspondents".
Training finance correspondents
AA News Academy will also hold the "Finance Journalism" certificate programme with the leading economy and finance establishments of Turkey.
Lectures will be given by the leading journalists, journalists and managers of AA and the experienced staff of the Turkish Ministry of Finance, Turkish Ministry of Economy, Turkish Undersecretariat of Treasury, Turkish Statistics Institute and the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency.
Participants will have a total of 420-hour training program, 172 of that would be allocated for practice. Successful attendees will be employed by AA at the end of their course.
