GAZA CITY, Palestine
Israeli warplanes on Tuesday evening struck a position in the eastern Gaza Strip, killing at least one Palestinian, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry.
The ministry has identified the slain Palestinian as Mahmoud Abed al-Nabahin, 24.
The airstrike left four other Palestinians injured, one of them seriously, the ministry said.
In a statement, the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Gaza-based resistance faction Hamas, said that al-Nabahin had been one of its members.
