Missile strike damages house, vehicles in Israel’s Upper Galilee

Strikes follow series of Iranian, Hezbollah attacks targeting northern Israel

ISTANBUL

A missile strike in the Upper Galilee damaged several vehicles early Saturday and a house in what Israeli media is calling a combined attack from Iran via Lebanon.

Sirens were heard in multiple communities in northern Israel as Iranian ballistic missiles and Hezbollah rockets triggered air-raid alerts, local media reported.

The Israeli army said earlier it identified missiles launched from Iran toward its territory, prompting the alerts.

The local Ynet news outlet reported that sirens sounded in the Upper Galilee, including in Safed and Rosh Pina, due to fire from Lebanon.

Loud explosions were heard in Safed, but emergency services said no casualties had been reported.

Additional alerts were activated in communities across northern Israel and in the Sharon region, reflecting a combined barrage from Iran and Lebanon, according to Israeli reports.
