Israeli soldiers assaulted and detained two Palestinian children during a raid Saturday in the town of Al-Mughayyir in northeastern Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.
Video on social media showed several Israeli soldiers surrounding the boys after detaining them.
One soldier was seen grabbing one of the children by force and shoving him as he tried to pull away, while other soldiers restrained the second child.
A second clip showed the boys sitting on the ground beside an Israeli military vehicle moments before troops withdrew from the area.
Sources told Anadolu that Israeli forces also raided the towns of Birzeit in northern Ramallah, and Beitunia in the west, without any arrests being reported.
According to official Palestinian figures, Israel is holding 360 Palestinian children in its prisons, where they face harsh conditions similar to those experienced by adult detainees.
Violence by Israeli occupiers and Israeli forces has escalated since October 2023, killing more than 1,148 Palestinians, wounding 11,750 and leading to nearly 22,000 arrests.
