The Israeli military said Friday that it had identified fresh missile launches from Iran, with defense systems working to intercept the incoming threat as sirens sounded across northern Israel including Haifa, the Galilee and the occupied Golan Heights.
Israel's emergency service Magen David Adom said no calls had been received on its emergency hotline following the launches.
Iran's Tasnim News Agency said that Iranian missiles had targeted Haifa Bay.
The launches are part of Iran's ongoing retaliatory campaign against Israel.
US-Israeli strikes on Iran began on Feb. 28 and have reportedly killed around 1,300 people so far, including then-Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Iran has retaliated with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq and Gulf countries hosting US military assets.
