Attacks hit Israeli vehicles and soldiers in northern Israel and southern Lebanon

Hezbollah said Monday that it carried out 12 operations targeting Israeli vehicles and soldiers in several areas of northern Israel and southern Lebanon.

In a series of statements monitored by Anadolu, the group said the attacks were conducted “in defense of Lebanon and its people.”

Hezbollah said it launched rocket attacks targeting Israeli soldiers at the Al-Ajal Hill site north of the Kfar Yuval settlement, as well as at the Honin gate opposite the border town of Markaba in southern Lebanon.

The group added that it also targeted Israeli vehicles and soldiers in Jdeidet Marjayoun and the newly established site in Jabal al-Bat in the border town of Aitaroun with artillery shells.

In other operations, Hezbollah said it fired a rocket salvo at the Beit al-Jundi center in the northern Israeli settlement of Kiryat Shmona, as well as in the settlements of Zar’it and Shomera, and toward the city of Nahariya in northern Israel.

In southern Lebanon, the group said it shot down an Israeli drone of the Hermes 450 type over the skies of the city of Bint Jbeil.

While the US-Israeli attacks on Iran continue since Feb. 28, Israeli forces have also expanded operations in Lebanon, despite a ceasefire that was reached in late 2024.
