Explosions reported in Tehran, Isfahan and Zanjan amid US-Israeli strikes

Blasts come as tensions continue to escalate in region

Explosions were heard early Tuesday in the Iranian capital Tehran as well as the cities of Isfahan and Zanjan amid ongoing US-Israeli attacks, according to local reports.

The blasts came as tensions continue to escalate following coordinated military actions by the US and Israel against Iran since last month.

US President Donald Trump posted uncensored and uncaptioned video Monday of massive explosions amid new attacks on Iran.

Earlier, The Wall Street Journal reported that the US hit a large ammunition depot in Isfahan with 2,000-pound bunker buster bombs.

Citing a US official, the report said a high volume of bunker busters, or penetrator munitions, were used for the strike.
