At least 25 killed, dozens injured in Israeli attacks in Gaza Strip

Children among those killed in airstrikes on homes, tents, according to medics

ISTANBUL

At least 25 people, including children, have been killed and dozens injured in renewed Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip on Monday, according to medics.

Medical sources told Anadolu that 10 people, among them children, were killed in Israeli airstrikes on two homes in Al-Jalaa Street of Gaza City, northern Gaza Strip.

The Israeli army hit a tent sheltering displaced civilians in the Al-Rimal neighborhood of western Gaza City, killing six people, including three children.

Five more people were killed, and several others injured, when army forces shelled a civilian gathering in the Al-Karama area in the same city.

In central Gaza, one Palestinian lost his life to Israeli gunfire in the Al-Mughraqa town.

Three people, including a married couple, were killed by Israeli army fire in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip.

Israel’s ongoing war on Gaza has killed nearly 65,000 Palestinians since October 2023 and devastated the enclave, which faces famine.

Israel is facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice over its war in the territory.
