Iraqi security forces killed 15 Deash terrorists Tuesday in north central Saladin province of Iraq.
Lieut. Numan al-Jouburi told Anadolu Agency clashes broke out in city’s north and Iraqi security personnel was supported with airstrikes.
He said in addition to the terrorists who were killed, nine others were captured.
In 2017, Iraqi authorities announced Daesh was beaten and the country gained territories once held by the terror group.
However, Daesh terrorists still have a presence in the rural areas of Anbar, Diyala, Kirkuk, Saladin and Mosul and perform acts of terrorism against civilians.
