Turkey's Borsa Istanbul down at Friday opening
BIST 100 index loses 1.36 points from previous close

Turkey’s benchmark stock index opened at 1,074.98 points Friday, down 1.36 points or 0.13% from the previous close.
At Thursday's close, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index ended the day down 0.70% to close at 1,076.34 points, with a daily trading volume of 12.5 billion Turkish liras ($1.7 billion).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate rose to 7.4500 as of 9.30 a.m. local time (0630GMT), up from Thursday's closing rate of 7.4340.
The euro/Turkish lira exchange rate increased to 8.8240, versus 8.8080, and one British pound traded for 9.9100 Turkish liras. It was 9.9310 at the previous close.
One barrel of Brent crude oil sold for around $43.72 as of 10 a.m. local time (0700GMT) Friday.
