Nigeria’s police on Tuesday sealed off the head office of the ruling party All Progressives Congress (APC) in the capital Abuja, local media reported.

The reason behind the move is still unknown as police ordered staff and journalists at the party's building to move out, the Cable news website reported.

The party has been under a leadership crisis.

Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari has been working on resolving the crisis through holding meetings with a number of governors and Senate President Ahmad Lawan.
