LeBron James is first player in NBA history to get 1,000 straight matches with at least 10 points

The Los Angeles Lakers defeated San Antonio Spurs 121-107 on Wednesday night, with LeBron James racking up 26 points, 8 assists, and 5 rebounds for the win.
Following this performance, James extended his record streak of 10-plus points games to 1,000 on his 36th birthday.
The four-time NBA champion had already surpassed legend Michael Jordan's record streak in 2018 when he recorded his 867th straight game with 10-plus points.
Besides James, five more players scored in double-digit for the Lakers. German guard Dennis Schroder scored 21 points, Anthony Davis produced 20, Wesley Matthews finished with 18, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Montrezl Harrell added 10 points each.
For the losing side, Dejounte Murray was the highest scorer of his team with 29 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists.
DeMar DeRozan finished with 23 points and 6 assists, while Patty Mills helped his team with 12 points.
The Spurs have two wins and two defeats, while the LA Lakers have 3-2 win/loss.
Meanwhile, the Spurs' Becky Hammon became the first woman in the NBA history to serve as head coach after Gregg Popovich was ejected.
