Coronavirus: LeBron won't play games without fans

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James said he would refuse to play any NBA games without the fans because of the coronavirus outbreak if his team had to stage games behind closed doors. 

"We play games without fans?" James said, "No, it’s impossible." following the Lakers’ win over the Milwaukee Bucks 113-103 on Friday night at Staples Center.

"I ain’t playing," James said about any potential NBA games without fans due to coronavirus.

The death toll from the coronavirus epidemic reached 15 in the U.S.

The Lakers won their third game in a row as LeBron James scored 37 points and Anthony Davis produced 30 points. The Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo also scored 32 points.

With this result, the Lakers clinched a spot in the NBA playoffs for the first time since 2013.

Eastern Conference leaders Milwaukee had already claimed their playoff berth.

The Lakers top the Western Conference with a 48-13 win/loss record.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Clippers will reportedly sign the 35-year-old center Joakim Noah.

A two-time All-Star, Noah played in 42 games for the Memphis Grizzlies in 2018-19, averaging 7.1 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 2.1 assists.
