UK exhibition describes heroism against defeated coup

LONDON 

The heroism by the Turkish nation against the 2016 defeated coup by Feto terrorist organization is depicted in tens of drawings and paintings in London.

An exhibition organized by the Turkey’s National Education Ministry and the Yunus Emre Institute was opened on Tuesday.

The exhibition consists of 29 selected pictures by Turkish students who study in Turkish schools in the British capital.

Turkey’s Education Counselor in London Hasan Unsal said in the opening ceremony that they have organized the exhibition on the third anniversary of the defeated coup and the pictures depicted “our children’s perspective”.

Unsal said they aimed to create awareness on the July 15 coup attempt.

Yunus Emre Institute’s director in London Mustafa Karakus said the exhibition will remain open till 22 July.
