Nearly 120M coronavirus vaccine shots given in Turkey to date
More than 56.17M people received 1st dose, over 50.29M fully vaccinated, according to Health Ministry
Turkey has administered over 119.9 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines since it launched an immunization drive in January, according to latest figures released on Friday.
More than 56.17 million people have taken a first vaccine dose, while over 50.29 million have been fully vaccinated, the Health Ministry said.
Turkey has also given third booster shots to more than 12 million people.
Separately, the ministry recorded 24,002 new coronavirus cases, 201 related deaths, and 25,341 recoveries over the past day.
As many as 361,229 virus tests were done in the last 24 hours, the data showed.
