ATHENS
Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on Friday attacked the EU’s lack of action in the face of refugee deaths, saying he felt “ashamed”.
He was speaking after 22 migrants, including 13 children, drowned when the two boats sank off the islands of Kalymnos and Rhodes in the Aegean.
Addressing parliament, he said: “The Aegean Sea does not only wash ashore bodies of children but it washes ashore the EU culture.
