Dutch midfielder Donny van de Beek will miss the Netherlands’ EURO 2020 campaign as he struggles with a groin injury, his team announced on Tuesday.
Manager Frank de Boer will not call replacement for van de Beek in EURO 2020 which will start on Friday, the Dutch National Football Team said on Twitter.
Van de Beek, 24, played in 36 matches for Manchester United last season.
The Netherlands will face Ukraine, Austria and North Macedonia in the EURO 2020 group stage.
