At least 3 killed, 31 missing as storm hits Philippines
10,000 people evacuated, 3,000 houses damaged, according to local media
ANKARA
At least three people were killed and 31 went missing after heavy rains and typhoon Conson hit the Philippines this week.
According to the local press citing the National Disaster Management Council, 84,000 people in Metro Manila and other regions were affected by the typhoon, and 10,000 were evacuated to safe areas.
At least 3,000 houses were damaged in many regions in the central part of the country as search and rescue efforts continue.
