The average electricity rate for one megawatt hour in the day ahead spot market for the week ending November 5 increased by 0.64 percent to 171 Turkish liras compared to previous week ending October 29, according to Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data on Sunday.
Last week the average electricity rate for one megawatt hour was calculated as 169.91 liras.
The highest electricity rate for one megawatt hour in the day ahead spot market for this week was 218.44 liras on Thursday and the lowest was 57.01 liras on Monday.
EXIST data for the trade volume in this week's electricity market totaled 417.25 million liras.
US$1 equals 3.82 liras, according to Turkey's Central Bank data.
