Spot market electricity prices for Saturday, Dec. 16

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows trade volume as 52.88 million Turkish liras for electricity market

The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 201.89 Turkish liras at 11.00 local time, the lowest will be 80 liras at 23.00 local time, according to official figures on Friday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume in Friday's electricity market decreased by 17.8 percent to 52.88 million liras compared to Thursday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market on Friday is calculated as 149.66 liras and 150.87 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour for Friday was 206.35 liras at 09.00 local time, the lowest was 105.04 liras at 23.00 local time.

US$1 equals 3.83 Turkish liras, according to Turkey's Central Bank data.
