Spot market electricity prices for Monday, Jan. 15

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows trade volume as 84.08 million Turkish liras for electricity market

The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 214.06 Turkish liras at 11.00 local time, the lowest will be 125.01 liras at 02.00, 03.00 and 04.00 local time, according to official figures on Sunday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume in Sunday's electricity market increased 15.80 percent to 84.08 million liras compared to Saturday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market on Monday is calculated as 193.25 liras and 197.18 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour for Sunday is 203.27 liras at 19.00 local time, and the lowest will be 135 liras at 15.00 local time.

US$1 equals 3.76 liras, according to Turkey's Central Bank data.
