Spot market electricity prices for Friday, Dec. 8

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows trade volume as 62.99 million Turkish liras for electricity market

The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 203.83 Turkish liras at 09.00 local time, the lowest will be 105 liras at 04.00 and 05.00 local time, according to official figures on Thursday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume in Thursday's electricity market decreased by 4.21 percent to 62.99 million liras compared to Wednesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market on Friday is calculated as 165.38 liras and 168.51 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour for Thursday was 202.89 liras at 09.00 and 10.00 local time, the lowest was 100 liras at 04.00 local time.

US$1 equals 3.85 liras, according to Turkey's Central Bank data.
