Hourly power consumption peaked at 12.00 local time with 41,297 megawatt-hours, data from TEIAS showed. The country's electricity usage dropped to its lowest point of 28,904 megawatt-hours at 05.00.
Total electricity production reached 868,529 megawatt-hours on Friday with a 2.14% increase compared to the previous day.
The majority of the output came from hydroelectricity at 184,693 megawatt-hours. Imported coal and natural gas followed with 180,404 megawatt-hours and 176,631 megawatt-hours, respectively.
On Friday, Turkey's electricity exports amounted to 3,323 megawatt-hours, while imports totaled 7,531 megawatt-hours.
