On Turkey's spot gas market on Wednesday, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas hit a new high record this year at 2,320 liras, according to Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data released on Thursday.
The new record high set on Wednesday superseded the previous record of 2,275 liras recorded on Tuesday.
The trade volume of Turkey's spot natural gas market increased by 62.6% to 5.61 million Turkish liras on Wednesday. Total trade on Tuesday amounted to 3.45 million liras.
On Wednesday's spot market, the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to 2.41 million cubic meters.
Turkey received 144.02 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Wednesday.
US$1 equals 8.47 Turkish liras at 1100 GMT on Thursday.
