The highest electricity rate for one megawatt-hour in the day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 319.61 Turkish liras at 19.00 and the lowest at 219 liras at 04.00 local time, according to official figures on Wednesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday's electricity market showed a decrease of 5.06% to 162.6 million liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 279.74 liras and 280.70 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Wednesday was set as 322.32 liras at 19.00 and the lowest at 238.08 liras at 04.00 and 05.00 local time.
US$1 equals 7.16 Turkish liras at 1110 GMT on Wednesday.
