The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 336.29 Turkish liras at 09.00 local time, and the lowest will be 215 liras at 13.00 local time, according to official figures on Thursday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume on Thursday showed an increase of 20.2% to 151.29 million liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 298.96 liras and 300.73 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Thursday was set as 327.75 Turkish liras at 19.00 local time, and the lowest will be 129.63 liras at 04.00 local time.
US$1 equals 6.17 Turkish liras on Thursday at 1124 GMT.
