Norway's total sales of petroleum products fell to 715 million liters in October 2019, a 5.7% decrease compared to the same month last year, according to Statistics Norway on Thursday.
For gasoline sales, the statistics office said the volume decreased to 80 million liters - a year-on-year decline of 6 million liters.
Sales of diesel amounted to 261 million liters, a fall of 13 million liters compared to October last year.
Data from the Norwegian Ministry of Trade, the Norwegian Petroleum Institute and oil companies provide data from which the statistics authority has produced monthly figures since 1973.
