Norway's October oil output increased by 264,000 barrels per day (bpd) compared to September, according to official preliminary figures from the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) on Tuesday.
The Nordic country's daily production of oil, natural gas liquids and condensate was about 1.83 million bpd for the month of October, according to the statement.
Oil production for October was also about 4.5% above the NPD's forecast for the month.
The country's total gas sales for October saw a monthly increase of 3.3 billion cubic meters compared to September to reach 9.3 billion cubic meters.
