The trade volume of Turkey's spot natural gas market saw an 106% increase to 3.5 million Turkish liras on Monday, Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Tuesday.
Total trade on Sunday amounted to 1.7 million liras.
On Monday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 1,455 liras, while the total natural gas volume trade amounted to 2.44 million cubic meters.
Turkey received 101 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Sunday.
US$1 equals 5.83 Turkish liras at 1115 GMT on Monday.
