Valeura Energy lists on London stock exchange

- Turkey-focused company maintains its Toronto Stock Exchange listing in addition to new listing

Turkey-focused Canadian energy company Valeura began trading on the London Stock Exchange, the company announced on Thursday.

Valeura said the company's common shares have been admitted to the standard segment of the official list of the financial conduct authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's main market under the ticker 'VLU'.

The company maintains its Toronto Stock Exchange listing in addition to this new listing on the London Stock Exchange.

The common shares are now fully fungible between the two exchanges and can be readily transferred.

Valeura Energy is a Canada-based public company engaged in the exploration, development and production of petroleum and natural gas in Turkey.

Since Valeura was established in 2010, the company currently holds interests in 20 production leases and exploration licenses in the Thrace Basin of Turkey.
