Turkey’s crude oil imports in Feb. 2015 increased by 28.50 percent and diesel oil (excluding biodiesels) imports increased by 14,29 percent compared the previous year's same month, according to Turkey’s energy watchdog.
“In Feb. 2015, the import of crude oil inclined by 28.50 percent to 1.6 million tons and the import of diesel fuel (excluding biodiesels) increased by 14.29 to 0.7 million tons,” Turkish Energy Regulatory Market, EMRA, announced on Wednesday in the Oil Market Sector Report of February 2015.
Additionally, gasoline exports in Feb. rose by 24.31 percent to 0.2 million tons.
In February 2014, jet fuel imports increased by 170.57 percent to 29 thousand tons while jet fuel production increased by 42.90 percent to 310 thousand tons compared to February 2015.
Sales of total oil fuel increased by 7,96 percent to 1.47 million tons while total diesel sales increased by 7.9 percent to 1.18 million tons, compared to Feb. 2014.
Additionally, total diesel (excluding biodiesel) sales increased by 63.60 percent to 110 thousand tons.
