Turkey's crude oil imports increase by 27.7 percent in Jan 2015 compared to same period in 2014, according to the Energy Market Regulatory Authority's monthly oil market report on Wednesday.
Crude oil imports increased to 1.6 million tons in January of this year. Additionally in January, refinery oil production increased by 30.4 percent to 1.7 million tons.
Also in January, lead-free gasoline production increased by 54.5 percent to 388,265 tons. Turkish fuel-oil sales rose by 15.3 percent to 1.6 million tons while the total diesel oil sales rose by 16.1 percent to 1.4 million tons.
Gasoline exports increased by 102 percent compared to January 2014 to reach 277,482 tons.
