Natural gas sales volume, including LNG, of Russia’s largest independent natural gas producer Novatek decreased by 9.9% to 16.90 billion cubic meters (bcm) in the second quarter of 2020 from the corresponding period of 2019, Novatek announced on Monday.
Natural gas sales volumes in Russia amounted to 14.43 bcm, whereas LNG volumes sold on international markets reached 2.47 bcm.
According to second-quarter preliminary data, petroleum product sales volumes amassed 1,893 thousand tons, including 1,266 thousand tons of naphtha, 242 thousand tons of jet fuel and 385 thousand tons of fuel oil and gasoil.
Novatek sold 1,091 thousand tons of crude oil and 491 thousand tons of stable gas condensate over this period.
As of June 30, 2020, Novatek had 1 bcm of natural gas, including LNG, and 450 thousand tons of stable gas condensate and petroleum products in storage or transit and designated as inventory.
The company's hydrocarbon production totaled 145.3 million barrels of oil equivalent, including 18.50 bcm of natural gas and 2,920 thousand tons of liquids - gas condensate and crude oil, which marked a decrease in total hydrocarbons produced of 3.7 million boe, or 2.5%, compared with the second quarter 2019.
