Türkiye's oil imports down 6.3% in Nov. 2025

- Crude oil imports fall by 6.9% to 2.41 million tons in November 2025, latest data shows

​​​​​​Türkiye's total oil imports decreased by 6.3% to 3.8 million tons in November 2025 compared to the same month in 2024, according to recent data released by the country's energy watchdog on Tuesday.

Crude oil imports, the category with the highest oil import volume, fell by 6.9% in November 2025 to 2.41 million tons, the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) said in its monthly report.

Türkiye imported the majority of its crude oil and oil product needs from Russia, totaling 2.07 million tons. Iraq and Kazakhstan followed with 557,550 tons and 424,390 tons, respectively.

Total exports in the oil market increased by 1.3%, reaching 1.09 million tons.

Additionally, total domestic oil product sales increased by 1.1 % year-over-year in November 2025 to 2.81 million tons.
