Crude oil prices fell after lower-than-expected stock data was released from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) on Wednesday.
International benchmark Brent crude was trading at $63.46 per barrel at 0620 GMT on Thursday with a 1.36% drop after it ended the previous session at $64.34 a barrel.
American benchmark West Texas Intermediate was at $56.64 a barrel for a 1.28% decrease at the same time after closing Wednesday at $57.38 per barrel.
Commercial crude oil stocks fell by 1.1 million barrels, or 0.1%, to 468.5 million barrels for the week ending June 28, EIA data showed on Wednesday.
U.S. oil stock draws were below expectations of a drop of about 2.96 million barrels.
