Iran oil exports up 32% over last 60-days

- Two million tons of non-oil products were also exported from Iran’s largest port, Shahid Rajaee, from March 21 to May 20

Iran exported 1.7 million tons of various oil products from the country’s largest port, Shahid Rajaee, over the last 60 days, showing a 32% growth rate compared to the same period last year, according to the director of Shahid Rajaee Port on Monday.

In an interview with Fars News Agency, Allah-Morad Afifipour said more than two million tons of non-oil products and commodities were exported from Shahid Rajaee from March 21 to May 20.

With a total of 583 vessels entering the port during these 60 days, Afifipour said “a volume of 8,639,920 tons of oil and non-oil products were transported to the port.”

He said more than 4.1 million tons of non-oil products and 4.4 million tons of various oil products were loaded and unloaded at the port over the same period, showing a 10.9% hike compared to the corresponding period last year.
