Iraq exported 105.64 million barrels of oil last month, down from 108.1 million in May, according to the country's Oil Ministry.
In a statement on Sunday, the ministry said the revenues from May exports stood at $7.32 billion based on figures released by the state oil marketing firm SOMO.
Ministry spokesman Assem Jihad said the daily rate of exports amounted to 3.51 million barrels in June, a slight increase from May’s level of 3.49 million.
He added the average price per barrel amounted to $69.32 last month, compared to $69.93 in May.
The figure did not include any exports from the oil fields in the northern province of Kirkuk, where oil activity remains halted since Iraqi forces took over the facilities in response to last September’s illegitimate referendum for independence of the Kurdish Regional Government from the central government in Baghdad.
Iraq is OPEC's second largest oil producer after Saudi Arabia.
